Title Sequence
A title sequence is the format by which films or television programs present their title, key production and cast members, or both, us conceptual visuals and sound. It usually follows but should not be confused with the opening credits, which are generally nothing more than a series of superimposed text.
Format of title:
- Production Company- IDENT; e.g MGM, Pixar, Paramount, Dreamworks, Columbia, 20th Fox, Universal, Disney.
- Production Co. Presents
- A film by .. Director
- Main Stars
- Titles
- Other major cast members
- Sound, Editing, Make-up, Costume, Lighting, Cinematography, Scripts
- Producer(s) can usually be more than one
- Director
- Could put title here- Remember to use Live Type and try to make titles interesting. They can be either over black or superimposed over your film. Space them over the two minutes of the film. Give the audience plenty of time to read the titles
- Finish with a fade out and fade music out going into the start of the movie with dialogue.
Studio IDENTS
Most studio indents usually display major big icons like the the Earth, a Mountain etc. These are big obvious features that show powerful and big figures.
